This project was an intensive tree plantation initiative by the office of the CAG of India. It is an integration of multi-layered indigenous flora with art and design.
Over 12,000 saplings of more than 55 rare native species have been planted here. The unique design of the forest consists of recreational, artistic and meditative zones. Elements such as its unpredictable winding pathways, a watchtower, a gazebo, and sitting spaces add to the design character and experience of the forest. The design of the elements have been kept raw and primitive while enhancing the natural textures of the materials. A 17 feet tall sculpture figures in the centre of the forest as a symbol of synergy between forest art and design.
